Clothing inventory can look profitable at its asking price while offers and low-price fees leave much less after a sale. FlipFinds helps you keep purchase cost, item details and recorded outcomes together as you manage your stock.
Check the price threshold before accepting an offer
The Poshmark calculator uses the sourced US seller commission: $2.95 below $15 and 20% from $15. Buyer shipping is outside this commission model. Enter seller-paid shipping discounts, supplies and other costs yourself.
For a hypothetical $14 sale on an item bought for $5, the $2.95 commission leaves $6.05 before other expenses. At $15, the commission becomes $3. An offer should be evaluated at the accepted price, not the original listing price.
Keep similar clothing distinguishable
Record the brand, size, condition and purchase cost at intake. Add details that help you identify the correct item among similar garments. Update the record when it sells; leaving unsold asking prices in a sales review overstates the outcome.
Bundles can spread costs across more than one item. Allocate the actual proceeds and expenses consistently in your records rather than charging the same expense to each item and then summing it twice.
Use the app alongside your closet
FlipFinds supports your tracking workflow; it does not directly synchronize a Poshmark closet, post listings or read every offer. Continue managing the transaction on Poshmark and recording the outcome yourself.
Start with one completed sale you can reconcile, then use its actual costs to make the next sourcing estimate more useful.
Poshmark buyer-paid postage is not credited as seller revenue in the preset. Enter any shipping discount or extra shipping charge you bear as seller shipping or Other costs. Poshmark shipping guidance explains that buyers pay for postage.
