Local inventory and connected Cloud are different ways of using FlipFinds. Local inventory can be used without creating an account. Connecting optional Cloud requires sign-in and sends supported data to Cloud services.
Connect deliberately
Before connecting, review the Cloud options and status shown in Settings. Availability can depend on your app version, plan and connection. Do not assume that using the app locally has created a remote backup.
After connecting, check the workspace and synchronization status before relying on the record on another device. A temporary offline state or interrupted synchronization can delay changes; confirm the result after connectivity returns.
Treat photos as a separate backup check
Inventory synchronization and photo backup have separate behavior and status. Seeing an item in Cloud does not establish that every associated image has been uploaded. Check the photo-backup setting and status, especially before changing phones or deleting local files.
Keep your own copy of important records or exports where the app supports them. A connection indicator alone is not proof that every recent edit has reached another device.
Know what stays local and what transfers
The privacy information explains data use for connected services. Local inventory works without a Cloud account. Once you connect Cloud, supported inventory data transfers to Cloud services; review photo-backup status separately.
Check current app options or contact support if the displayed Cloud state does not match your expectations.
