An item is easy to lose twice: once in a storage bin and again in a spreadsheet you stopped updating. FlipFinds gives you a place to keep the item record from intake through sale, even when you list on more than one marketplace.
A useful record starts at intake
Add a title you will recognize, purchase cost and the details needed to distinguish similar items. Use photos or a barcode where useful, and check suggested details before saving. Record inventory before it disappears into a pile of unlisted stock.
Keep the item’s status current as your work progresses. Listing an item and selling it are different events; an expected sale price should never be counted as money already earned.
Use inventory to answer the next practical question
Before buying more, search for similar stock you already own. During listing sessions, work from recorded items rather than reconstructing purchases from memory. After a sale, update the record and its actual economics.
A hypothetical $12 purchase that sits unsold remains inventory with money tied up in it. A $45 asking price does not create $33 of realized profit. Fees, shipping and the actual sale still matter.
Start with a manageable batch
Enter five items you can physically find. Check their costs and status, then add the next batch. Local inventory works without an account; optional connected Cloud has separate sign-in and synchronization requirements.
FlipFinds does not automatically synchronize your marketplace listings. Keep listing changes and sale records current yourself. Set up the first item or use the free resale calculator to review its economics.
